We worked with Sterling Builders for almost a year on three home renovation projects. Every single individual we interacted with on the team were personable and extremely professional, and their workmanship was excellent. The foreman was always friendly, helpful, and responsive, no matter how much he had going on. If we had any questions, he responded by text in a timely manner. The workers were kind, courteous, informative, responsive to requests, and ready and willing to correct things, if something was not quite right. We trusted everyone on the team and felt very comfortable with them being in our home, even when we were at work. Rob Edmonds is excellent to work with…extremely conscientious, calm, professional, kind, reasonable, and worked with us with cooperation and respect, to resolve any issues that came up. He clearly is very selective about the subcontract companies he uses and we had excellent experiences with all of them -- all high quality work. There were, of course, the inevitable frustrations and delays along the way, but nothing unreasonable, and again, the team was reachable and communicated with us well. By the end of the project, they had hired a manager/point person to communicate information and updates with their customers which made things even smoother. A great example of how this company strives to continually improve and to deliver the highest quality product in the most professional way. We would highly recommend them!

We engaged Sterling Builders in the remodel of our 3rd floor apartment. We had plans drawn up by an interior designer with some very challenging high end finishes. Sterling won the competitive bid and completed the work, battling through Covid supply chain disruptions. The work was not easy, a third floor apartment only accessible with stairs which required demolition, delivery of materials and installation all up and down three floors of stairs. The end result was a beautiful, high quality project. We would definitely recommend Sterling.

We contracted with Sterling Builders in the spring of 2021 to create a master bathroom and walk-in closet addition to our 1926 house, and we highly recommend them to others. We have considered postponing our project due to supply chain issues due to Covid, but then decided to proceed as planned. We are so glad we did!
During the entire process, for the first interview until the end of project, we were impressed by Bert's and the staff's professionalism, expertise, and communication. We were well informed throughout the process. All of the subcontractors did excellent work and were friendly too.
As expected, problems occurred -- supplies were delayed and subcontractors were backed up primarily due to Covid -- and Bert handled all of the delays well and always treated us with respect by telling us what was happening and why. He quickly answered all of our questions and concerns either by text or phone call. He kept us up-to-date if subcontractors' schedules changed or if supplies or permits were delayed.

Sterling Builders completed an extensive remodel to our 4 Br 3 Bath house in Gainesville Fl. From start to finish they did an excellent job.
During the contracting process they were very straightforward and flexible enabling us to come to contract terms that fit us.
In the construction phase our project manager, Bert Quarles, was on top of all aspects of the job. He always communicated in a timely manner. As expected in a remodel of a 70 year old house we had a few surprises discovered during demolition. When we came across something unexpected Bert alway provided us with options to address the issues.
We have built 2 customs homes and completed remodels in the past and by far this was our best experience.
